Senior Auditor

    • Knowledge of general auditing principles and approaches

    • Knowledge of general auditing principles and approaches: Possesses good knowledge of general auditing principles and approaches. With minimal assistance from the project manager, performs audit procedures and prepares working files that should be consistent with the example and quality of the working file developed at the firm level.
    •  Knowledge and application of accounting and auditing standards: Has a good knowledge of international financial reporting standards. As needed, minimally consults the project manager for consultations in order to perform work in accordance with the standards and quality developed at the firm level. Has the ability to provide appropriate answers to questions raised by transaction interns/assistants and clients. Has the ability to find information in relevant literature to resolve complex issues and offer possible solutions to the project manager. Has the ability to make a simple transformation table.
    •  Perform assigned sections: Ensures that the assigned work and the methods for its implementation/execution are well understood. Ensures that all required work is completed and documented in the work files within the specified timeframes, consistent with the standards and quality developed at the firm level. In case of unclear issues, immediately informs the project manager and has previously searched for information and possible solutions in the necessary literature. Ensures that questions raised by reviewers are answered within the specified timeframes and relevant comments/notes are reflected in the work files.
    •  Review of work files: Ensures that work files prepared by interns/assistants are fully completed and conform to the firm-level work file template and quality. Ensures that work files prepared by interns/assistants are clearly documented (task objective, work performed, conclusion, comments). Ensures that work files are prepared in a format that allows an independent reviewer to easily review the work performed and, if necessary, to replicate the work performed.
    •  Project Management: Assists the project manager in answering questions raised by team members. Assists the team interns/assistants/auditors in understanding the assigned work and explaining the steps required to complete/perform it. Assists the team interns/assistants/auditors in explaining how to document work files clearly (task objectives, work performed, conclusions, comments). Reviews work files and has appropriate team members correct work files as necessary. Provides a clear and concise plan to the transaction team members prior to project initiation and provides appropriate feedback upon completion of the transaction. Informs the project manager of the current status of the transaction on a regular basis, reports any problems regularly, and suggests ways to resolve them.
    •  Preparation of working files: Completes assigned work that is consistent with the firm-wide work file template and quality. Ensures that the work files prepared by him/her are reviewed by reviewers. Work files should contain clear documentation (work purpose, work performed, conclusion, comments). Ensures that work files are prepared in a format that allows an independent reviewer to easily review the work performed and, if necessary, to repeat the work performed.
    •  Work in the audit program: If an audit program exists, ensure the preparation of working files in the audit program to ensure that the audit program requirements and files comply with the standards and quality developed at the firm level.
    •  Proper communication with the client and transaction team members: Ensures research and documentation of the client's industry key characteristics. Establishes a good working relationship with the client. Communicates necessary issues with the client in a timely manner. Notifies the project manager of any problems that arise during communication with the client and suggests solutions.
    •  Assist the project manager in performing various tasks necessary for the implementation of the project: Assists the project manager in preparing audit documentation, letters, explanations, and other important documentation. Documents them in accordance with the instructions received from the project manager.
