Knowledge of general auditing principles and approaches: Possesses good knowledge of general auditing principles and approaches. With minimal assistance from the project manager, performs audit procedures and prepares working files that should be consistent with the example and quality of the working file developed at the firm level.
Knowledge and application of accounting and auditing standards: Has a good knowledge of international financial reporting standards. As needed, minimally consults the project manager for consultations in order to perform work in accordance with the standards and quality developed at the firm level. Has the ability to provide appropriate answers to questions raised by transaction interns/assistants and clients. Has the ability to find information in relevant literature to resolve complex issues and suggest possible solutions to the project manager. Has the ability to make a simple transformation table.
Performs assigned sections: Ensures that the assigned work and the methods for its implementation/execution are well understood. Ensures that all required work is completed and documented in work files within the specified timeframes, consistent with the standards and quality developed at the firm level. In case of unclear issues, immediately informs the project manager and has previously searched for information and possible solutions in the necessary literature. Ensures that questions raised by reviewers are answered within the specified timeframes and relevant comments/notes are clearly reflected in the work files.
Preparation of working files: Completes assigned work that is consistent with the firm-wide work file template and quality. Ensures that the work files prepared by him/her are reviewed by reviewers. Work files should contain clear documentation (work purpose, work performed, conclusion, comments). Ensures that work files are prepared in a format that allows an independent reviewer to easily review the work performed and, if necessary, to repeat the work performed.
Project Manager Assistance: Assists the Project Manager in answering questions raised by group members. Assists the group interns/assistants in understanding the assigned work and explaining the necessary steps for its implementation/performance. Assists the group interns/assistants in explaining how clear documentation should be maintained in the work files (work objective, work performed, conclusion, comments). Communicates regularly with the Project Manager regarding the performance of the interns/assistants' sections. In case of unclear issues, immediately informs the Project Manager and has previously searched for information in the necessary literature and possible solutions. Assists the Project Manager and ensures that all necessary information for the implementation of the project is received from the client in a timely manner.
Work in the audit program: If an audit program exists, ensure the preparation of work files in the audit program in a manner that ensures that the audit program requirements and files comply with the standards and quality developed at the firm level.
Proper communication with the client and transaction team members: Ensures research and documentation of the client's industry key characteristics. Establishes a good working relationship with the client. Communicates necessary issues with the client in a timely manner. Notifies the project manager of any problems that arise during communication with the client and suggests solutions.
Assist the project manager in performing various tasks necessary for the implementation of the project: Assists the project manager in preparing audit documentation, letters, explanations, and other important documentation. Documents them in accordance with the instructions received from the project manager.
